Benefit Descriptions:
Newsletters: Whether you are an English learner or an English teacher, our newsletters offer you the chance to learn a bit more about English, English-speaking culture, new opportunities at the ELI, and what's happening at MSU and in Springfield. Our English Teachers' Newsletter also includes helpful teaching tips, updated weekly.
Discussion Forums: Here, you can post questions or share your ideas with other members and with our professional instructional team. Get feedback and interact with people (great for introverts!)
Conversation Circles: Want to keep up your English speaking skills and meet new friends from Springfield and around the world? This is your chance. Conversation Circles is an invitation-only virtual meeting guided by our instructional team. We meet twice per week during the regular MSU semesters.
EAP Course Observations: Whether you are an English learner or English teacher, we welcome you to check out our English for Academic Purposes program courses. Just let us know when you would like to use your observation credits, and we will send you access!
Ask Me Anything Fridays: Ever wanted to just ask an English teacher a question? Now is your chance! Twice per month, you will be invited to attend these sessions where you can ask anything you want about English, English-speaking Culture, ELI, MSU, English teaching, etc. We are here for you!
Free Webinar Attendance: The ELI team hosts webinars periodically on a wide range of topics. These are typically paid events, but as a member, you will be the first to know and can sign up before seats fill up. And, they are FREE for you to attend!
