  Leadership and Oratory Online Program (LOOP)

  Empowering Voices. Inspiring Leaders.

  Are you ready to lead with confidence and speak with impact? The Leadership and Oratory Online Program (LOOP) offered by Missouri State University’s English Language Institute is a dynamic, interactive course designed to help intermediate-level English speakers strengthen their public speaking and leadership skills in a supportive, global learning community.

  Over eight weeks, participants will engage in 32 hours of live instruction (4 hours per week), guided by expert coaches who specialize in communication, leadership development, and cross-cultural engagement. Students also have the opportunity to join optional weekly Conversation Circles (2 hours per week) to practice speaking in a relaxed, informal setting with peers from around the world.

  Through LOOP, students will:
  

  • Develop clear, confident public speaking skills for academic, professional, and social settings.
  • Learn leadership strategies rooted in collaboration, empathy, and global awareness.
  • Receive personalized feedback and coaching to refine their delivery and presence.
  • Build community and connection through interactive projects and peer-led discussions.

  Program Highlights

  • Learning Sessions: Join our experienced instructors twice a week for interactive lessons focused on public speaking, pronunciation, and leadership topics.
  • Focus on your oral fluency: Build confidence and clarity in your spoken English through guided practice and authentic conversation.
  • Conversation Circles: Practice speaking with native and fluent English speakers from around the globe in relaxed, supportive virtual gatherings.
  • Certificate of completion and official Linguaskill English proficiency score report (Cambridge University exam) at the end of each 8-week session.
